Heart Bomb is an annual act of pop-up preservation advocacy showering a threatened historic building with tangible expressions of affection and devotion—preferably with lots of other heritage advocates, preservationists and urbanists in tow. The concept began in 2012 with the Buffalo Young Preservationists as a means to raise awareness of threatened historic buildings and to highlight the potential of vacant buildings for reuse, while making advocacy visible and accessible for the community.
While we often spend Valentine's Day letting people know how much we care about them, the folks at Heritage Forward thought it would be great to let some neglected and threatened historic places know we care too! So they got a bunch of people together to show some love for the Graphic Arts Building. Happy Valentine's Day.
