The Edmonton Project announced its Top 10 ideas this afternoon.

The shortlist, which you can find in full here, includes a food truck Ferris wheelEdmonton's first outdoor sauna (in the River Valley of course), the world's largest treehouse and a new way to get over the North Saskatchewan. The finalists were selected by a panel of five prominent Edmontonians.

Launched in August by a partnership between five organizations, the Edmonton Project is a city-wide brainstorming platform that will result in a permanent installation somewhere in the city. The community-driven initiative is searching for an idea that will help tell Edmonton's story.

The shortlisted ideas will now receive technical design and engineering support from industry experts, before they are presented at a live pitching event on March 6, 2018. (Stay tuned for event details.)
