This inaugural event is celebrating the work of independent filmmakers!  Groove Soldier Productions is presenting the first Edmonton Short Film Festival and we have had great response from the Edmonton film community in submitting some really great short films, exciting trailers and awesome music videos.

The films to be screened (filmmaker) are The Immaculate Pompadours (Mark Remple); Stapled (Scott McDonald); Wine Tasting with Lyle and The Rhino (Andrew Paul); The Surprise Party (James Scott);  Promenades Aquatiques (Colin Rocicot); Dookie Squad (Angela Palmer); The Lies We Tell (Samantha Slater); The Guru (Candice Creelman); Prodigal Son (Brady Roberts); A Seduction Spell (Daniel Foreman); Arkham Rising (Aristides Guillen); Startups (Sally Poulsen and Jeff Samsonow); Life's a Candle (Marcel Fayant); iCUP (Adam Bentley); Family (Jason Jeffery); Language of Desire (Kath McLean); Good Video (Geeta Sehgal) and Leviticus (Daniel Foreman).

We are hosting this as a one-night event on Saturday, October 5, in the beautiful Tegler Theatre at Concordia University College of Alberta, 7128 Ada Boulevard (73 St & 112 Ave).  Doors open at 6 PM and the films will be screened beginning at 7 PM.  The evening will include an opportunity for the patrons to vote for their favourite project and the winning filmmaker will receive a People's Choice Award.

Please contact us to receive a special invitation to attend or for more information!
